K2 Pure Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist. A vibrant and entrepreneurial company established in response to the growing demand by government and industry to reduce the need to transport certain hazardous chemicals, K2 Pure Solutions is deploying a North America wide network of state-of-the-art, vertically integrated, membrane cell chlor-alkali facilities utilizing inherently safe technology.

Reporting to K2’s Director of Engineering; candidates are expected to have a University degree and a minimum of five years work experience in the sourcing and procurement disciplines. Experience in the Chlor-Alkali industry and proficiency with Microsoft Project® are definite benefits. The position would be located in K2 Pure’s Akron, Ohio offices.

Responsibilities will include:

Procurement of equipment, piping & fittings, instruments, steel, construction materials, etc. for the construction of a membrane cell chlor-alkali bleach plant

• Cash flow forecasting specific to procurement requirements

• Negotiate price and terms with vendors

• Prepare reports for upper management

• Generate and coordinate purchase documents

• Coordinate, track and schedule vendors

• Coordinate, track and schedule equipment supply to plant
